Environmental Laws Waived The 30 plus environmental laws that were waived included those affecting wildlife, forests, farms, migratory birds, etc.  Overall theses laws were put in place so that we would care for our earth and those who inhabit it.  Having these laws overlooked is not just a political thing; it is a personal thing.  As people of faith, we are called to care for the environment and all that goes with it.  God is the creator!  God is the one who created this masterpiece we call earth.  Would our god have created such a work of art, so that we may use it to our advantage and destroy it?  I think not.  This world is a gift from the lord and we need to treat it as such. Deuteronomy 22: 4 says, “If you see your brother's donkey or his ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it.
