Faith and Energy
We all use energy in our personal lives, work live,s and faith lives. However, as individuals and a community we must work to diversify our energy use, transitioning to clean and sustainable energy such as wind and solar power in order to be good stewards of God's Creation. Our use of energy often comes at a cost to God's planet and people. The nation's dependence on fossil fuel based energy, such as coal, oil and natural gas, threatens the economy, public health, and security.
