Young Adult Environmental Justice Conference: Bringing Environmental
Justice into the Life of the Church
NCC's Faith & Environment Fellows will be helping to host an
Environmental Justice in May 2006. The event will empower young
adults to address environmental justice issues in their congregations
and communities through training, fellowship, and worship.
The Program:
- equipping
emerging leaders to address environmental justice issues in their
faith communities
- working
with impacted communities
- training
workshops including greening congregations and messaging and organizing
-
theological foundations of environmental justice
- fellowship
and networking
The Location:
The conference will be hosted in conjunction with the biennial
Eco-Justice Conference, which will be held in New Orleans, LA.
Registration:
Registration includes program fees, housing, and food.
