- Greater Milwaukee Synod hosted an Earth Day Worship and Care for Creation Fair
- Madison Christian Community, in Madison, WI, works with a correctional facility for a restorative justice garden.
- First Unitarian Society of Madison calculated an accurate assessment of emissions and have achieved carbon neutrality through offsets for the last two years.
- Unitarian Universalist Church West has installed Brookfield’s first solar-electric generating system. “Living sustainably is part of our religious commitment,” says the Rev. Suzelle Lynch. “Unitarian Universalists believe that all life on earth is linked in one sacred and interdependent web, and that we must do all we can to protect our planet.” The church also purchases 100% “renewable electricity” through WE Energies’ “Energy for Tomorrow” green pricing program, a decision made two years ago. - All Peoples Church (ELCA) of Milwaukee, WI, is reclaiming a garden, forming partnerships with local urban farming organizations and offering education in order to provide healthy, fresh food sources to all people.
- St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Stevens Point, WI is restoring prairie land on its own site and is teaching its congregation and community about environmental stewardship in the process.
